Vancouver’s Light Organ Records get into the holiday spirit with the release of Light Organ Records…With Bells On.

Vancouver — After being launched just over a year ago with the release of Our First Christmas, Vancouver-based Light Organ Records is set to celebrate their first anniversary and the holidays with the release of Light Organ Records…With Bells On. The eleven-track album features artists from the Light Organ Records roster and friends of the label. …With Bells On will be released on November 15th through Universal Music Canada. Light Organ Records will also be hosting a Christmas Showcase at the Waldorf Hotel in Vancouver on December 8th.

Light Organ Records…With Bells On highlights include Adaline‘s wonderful ‘Can’t Feel This Feeling’ (Adaline also sees her stunning second album Modern Romantics released today). Mint Records alumni, Vancouger, contribute their ‘Dysfunctional Family Christmas’ and Dead Ghosts‘ ‘Christmas Time’ brings up the Christmas vibes with a Black Lips inspired number. The album kicks off with a incredibly catchy track from Frederick called ‘Artificial Christmas’.

Vancouver’s Light Organ Records was founded by Jonathan Simkin of Simkin Artist Management and 604 Records. Jonathan recognized the city’s growing need for a strong independent/alternative label to focus on the region’s wealth of talented non-mainstream artists. Light Organ Records’ roster already includes Polaris Music Prize long-lister Louise Burns, pop-duo The Zolas, the soulful Adaline, the folk-influenced Adrian Glynn and rockers Sun Wizard.
